Change as a driving force

Change is a fundamental condition in the world around us and within our organisations. Yet embracing it can still be a challenge.

New requirements continue to emerge, digital opportunities are evolving rapidly – not least through AI – and the need for greater efficiency is becoming increasingly evident. At the same time, many organisations face the challenge of balancing the preservation of what already works with creating the changes needed to keep pace with development.

At the D4 Conference 2026, we focus on what it takes to turn change into progress. We will explore the mechanisms at play when organisations work with change and, importantly, how to create direction, engagement and results throughout the process.

Please note that the presentations will be conducted in Danish.

Meet this year’s speakers

Steen Broen Møller

Steen Broen Møller

Former member of the Sirius Dog Sled Patrol

Drawing on his experience from some of the world’s most demanding environments, Steen Broen Møller focuses on collaboration, responsibility and decisiveness. He shares perspectives on leadership and motivation, and on how to create direction and momentum in environments that are constantly changing.
Kamilla Jessen and Line M. Christensen

Kamilla Jessen and Line M. Christensen

QA Specialist at KMC and Quality Manager at AKK, Karup Kartoffelmelfabrik A.M.B.A.

How do you turn a quality management platform into an active working tool – rather than just a document archive – within a complex organisation spanning multiple companies and locations?

Kamilla Jessen and Line M. Christensen share how, together with users, they rethought their D4InfoNet solution and created greater transparency, accountability and job satisfaction.

Trine Tiedemann

Trine Tiedemann

Group Head of Quality at Scan Global Logistics

Scan Global Logistics has digitalised its quality management processes on a global scale. This has reduced certification times, improved knowledge sharing and lowered travel costs – all without increasing the number of quality management staff. Trine Tiedemann provides insight into the approaches that made the transformation possible and how they have been translated into tangible results.
Kim Skov Hilding

Kim Skov Hilding

Senior Consultant at Danish Standards

Kim Skov Hilding works with standards that form the framework for many organisations’ work with quality and safety. In his presentation, he will provide insight into how the upcoming European quality management standard for AI systems, EN 18286, is being developed – and what it means for organisations that will need to address the use of AI going forward. He will also discuss the differences between EN 18286 and the existing global AI management system standard, ISO/IEC 42001.
Carsten Bækmand

Carsten Bækmand

COO at D4

Carsten Bækmand will take us behind the scenes of the AI development in D4InfoNet – from the initial considerations to the concrete possibilities. And not least, when it has been necessary to establish clear frameworks and limitations to ensure responsible and secure use.
Niels-Richard Christensen

Niels-Richard Christensen

CEO at D4

The day will conclude with a collective reflection on the key takeaways from the conference. Niels-Richard Christensen will provide insight into how development will continue at D4, including the trends, opportunities and focus areas that will shape the work going forward.

Choose your tool sessions

At this year’s conference, you will take part in two different tool sessions. In each session, a D4 consultant will share practical tips and tricks for a specific tool in D4InfoNet. When registering for the conference, simply choose the two tool sessions you would like to attend. You can choose between:

Turn your knowledge into shared knowledge

How do you create a platform that is easy to understand, develop and work with – even over time? Get practical tips on documenting your structure, describing workflows and managing changes in a way that strengthens knowledge sharing and makes it easier for both current and new colleagues to navigate the platform.

Strengthen learning – traceable training in practice

How do you ensure that training is documented, traceable and audit ready? Get practical tips on how to work systematically to strengthen learning and test understanding through the distribution of documents across teams, departments and locations.

Equipment and service – an extended form

How do you create a clear overview of your equipment so that servicing, maintenance and documentation are all connected? We take a closer look at how to structure the registration of calibrations, inspections, repairs and other data, making it easy to track the status of any individual equipment and ensure a consistent approach.

Get ready for audit – an extended form

How can you strengthen your auditing processes? Get introduced to the new possibilities offered by the audit form – from structuring audits and assigning responsibilities to gaining an overview of observations and non-conformities, as well as ensuring systematic follow-up so that nothing is overlooked.

“I think it has been an excellent day with inspiring presentations. I also found the discussions in the networking groups very valuable.”
– Kenneth Reff, Department Radiographer and Quality Coordinator, Rigshospitalet’s Department of Diagnostic Radiology
